Is it normal that my period lasts 3 days while my friend's last 6 days?

Every girl is different and her menstrual cycle is different. If your period lasts between 3 and 7 days, it’s normal. The length of your period can vary depending on your age, your health, what’s going on in your life, your diet. If you are worried, you can see a midwife or gynecologist.

How to calculate the fertility period?

The fertility period lasts about 9 days each month, this is when a woman can get pregnant if she has sex. Several methods of calculation exist to identify this phase. A woman is fertile about 4 days before and 4 days after ovulating. We can know the approximate date of ovulation by removing 14 days from the date of the next menstruation. That’s why it’s worth noting your menstruation on a calendar or using the WeerWi app. Some methods also use body temperature or the appearance of vaginal discharge to recognize the time of ovulation. Recognizing the period of fertility is not a reliable method of contraception and does not protect sexually transmitted diseases.

Is it normal that last month my period came after 23 days and this month after 32 days?

The length of the menstrual cycle can vary depending on your age, your health, what’s going on in your life and what you eat… A complete menstrual cycle lasts between 21 and 35 days. The first two years after your first period it’s normal. After 2 years of menstruation, the cycle is said to be “irregular” when the number of days in the cycle is different at least 3 times in a row.
